Democrats lied to the American people and to the Supreme Court on Health Care

At an October 2013 conference Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber bragged about deceiving the American people, who he thinks are stupid.
Gruber bragged about lying to stupid Americans in order to take control of health care – for the greater good.

“This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scores the mandate as taxes the bill dies. So it’s written to do that… If you get a law that says healthy people are going to pay and sick people would get money, it would not have passed.
Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage. And, basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really very critical to get the thing to pass. And, you know, it’s the second best argument. I wish Mark was right we could make this transparent but I would rather have this law than not.”

And, that is exactly what Democrats did. Democrats lied to the American people and the Supreme Court, in order to pass Obamacare.

In terms of risk rated subsidies. If you had a law that made it explicit that healthy people pay in and sick people get money it would not have passed. Traditionally, obtaining or extorting money illegally or carrying on illegal business Health Care Act could be struck down under RICO  --  The Supreme Court should get another bite at this rotten apple.  The Democrats attorneys were basing their arguments on a lie.
